Jason Aldean took home six awards at the American Country Awards on Monday, making him the top prize-getter of the night. His wins included the coveted top artist of the year and top record of the year.
“This is getting a little ridiculous now,” Aldean said on one of his many visits to the stage. “I don’t know what else to say. It’s been a crazy year.” He was also the most nominated artist, with eight nominations total.
Carrie Underwood and Thompson Square both took home three awards each, and Toby Keith was named artist of the decade. The awards were held in Las Vegas and hosted by Kristin Chenoweth and Trace Adkins, with Adkins returning for his second year as host.
