Tis the season for giving – and getting! Check out what fellow collegiettes™ are asking for this holiday season – and let us know what you want by leaving us a comment below!
Cute workout clothes, then I’ll be motivated to hit the gym! :)
– Jaime Ritter, Campus Correspondent, UAB
London 2012 Olympic Games press credentials. I had one for Vancouver in 2010, but have since had contact after contact fall through.
– Jake Duhaime, HC Publicity Guru, Emerson alum
I want an iPhone so I can answer all my Her Campus emails more quickly :-)
– Alexandra Pannoni, Campus Correspondent, Towson University
I asked for (and received) a plane ticket to visit friends in New York that I haven’t seen in over a year!
– Sydney Nolan, Contributing Writer, University of Missouri: Columbia
An iPhone! Not to sound like THAT collegiette™, but my current phone is killing me: it’s too slow and unreliable, plus the battery drains so quickly. I’ve already picked out a DVF case and a few apps!
– Kelsey Mulvey, Contributing Writer, Boston University
Ralph Lauren riding boots — expensive, but they can be worn with almost anything!
0 Nikki Williams, Campus Correspondent, University of Michigan
Boyfriend, diamonds, shoes. My VS sleep shirt says it all. Aside from that, I really don’t have much to ask for. I have a loving family full of holiday cheer and that’s what the Christmas season is all about.
– Erica Avesian, Contributing Writer, University of Michigan
This Christmas I’m asking for a color eBook reader, like the Nook Color from Barnes & Noble. They’re reasonably priced, so it won’t feel like a splurge to my parents. Not much stands between me and my dreams of cozying up by the fire over winter break reading both classic fiction and Cosmopolitan magazine!
– Grace Ortelere, Campus Correspondent, University of Pennsylvania
As a senior, all I want is to be in New Orleans as my school, Alabama, plays for the 2012 BCS National Championship (football!) on Jan 9, 2012! Roll tide; beat LSU!!!!
– Jessica Johnson, Campus Correspondent, University of Alabama
R&R! After the stress of a long semester + finals, there’s nothing better than heading home for some much needed relaxation! It’s also a great way to get you in a positive mindset for the new year ahead.
– Tarina Quraishi, Contributing Writer, Harvard University

I asked for luxury beauty products of my favorite brands that I couldn’t justify spending on myself on a normal day. Kiehl’s body butter, Tocca perfume and Chanel nail polish made my list! Who doesn’t want to indulge during the holidays?
– Audrey Nelson, Campus Correspondent, Skidmore College
I try to set aside a little money each week for free spending, but I tend to mostly spend it in coffee shops. I miss shopping, so a gift card to one of my favorite stores, like Zara or J. Crew, would be fantastic. Happy holidays!
– Hannah Orenstein, Pre-Collegiette™ Editor, New York University
I want to go home to Michigan to see all my family and friends, bake cookies, make snow angels and do all the things I’ve missed the past four years. I want to meet my new baby cousin and laugh with my loved ones like there is no tomorrow.
– Stephanie Taylor, Campus Correspondent, Oklahoma State
I’d like to start out like any kid would with…
Dear Santa, How are things in the North Pole? I think I have been a really good girl this year, but that’s entirely up to you isn’t it? I really wish I could to be with my friends and family. We have all kind of drifted apart lately due to work, moving away, starting families, etc. We all had to grow up eventually, but it would make my heart smile to see everyone.
AND… I want a Kindle Fire too. Is that too much to ask for, Santa? I’ll leave you hot chocolate and a subway sandwich like every year. My daddy mentioned something about a beer, but I think he’s nuts. Tell Comet I said HI! Thank you, Santa!
Love, gumdrops, and candy cane hugs, Andrea.
– Andrea Kelly, Branch Manager, Western Michigan University
The Hunger Games book set, because all of my friends have read them but me and I need to read them before I see the movie. Also, the complete DVD series of “30 Rock” and “Arrested Development,” because I hate channel surfing and would much rather watch TV seasons on DVD than pay for cable.
– Hillary Johns, Campus Correspondent, Ohio University
The Versace for H&M leather studded jacket – because it’s HOT.
iPad 2 — because it’s sleeker than my Mac and will allow for me to do my work easily on the go.
Money — because I could always use some.
To be home with my family — because I miss them.
– Mariah Craddick, Campus Correspondent, Columbia College Chicago
I’ve been wanting to broaden my collection of fun and funky jewelry, but have no patience to pick those kinds of things out for myself! I’d love a great necklace or statement rings to add to my wardrobe.
– Lauren Kaplan, Contributing Writer, Emory University
I asked for cropped yoga pants from lululemon — they’re my favorite pants in the world! They last for years and they are reversible plus ultra comfy!
I also asked for a subscription to Cooking Light so that I can get inspired to cook healthy meals for myself during the school year!
– Jenni Whalen, Editorial Intern, Bucknell University
