As hundreds entered into the seats on the main floor, graduates poured in as the commencement ceremony began. Family, friends, staff, faculty, and others took a seat in the audience as the ceremony was about to start. The joyous occasion filled the air with happiness, joy and some sadness. For many students this was the end of their journey but for some, this was only the beginning. With majors such as agriculture business, graphic design. nursing, architectural studies, pharmacy, broadcast journalism, environmental studies, biology and accounting, students marched across the stage to receive their diplomas and handshakes from the dean of their school of the president of the university, James Ammons. HC FAMU decided to make these graduates campus celebrity of the week for all that they’ve accomplished, the mark they’ve made on the Hill and what they will do in the future. Congratulations Fall 2011 graduates!
