Hi HerCampus readers!

My name is Lindsay Beauregard and I’m a sophomore majoring in IDCC and Global Perspectives. When I graduate from Bentley I would like to work for UCB Pharmaceuticals, a company specializing in developing medicine to help control Epilepsy, a seizure disorder.

This company is very important to me because my younger sister suffers from Epilepsy and the medicine UCB produces has helped save my sister’s life and control her seizures. I would like to give back to the community that has done so much for my sister and my family. I want to give hope to those suffering from Epilepsy and help not only the victim, but their families as well.

I am in the running for a scholarship, Inspiring Experts, promoted by Randstad, a respected HR company. The application for the scholarship is a three minute video that explains why the applicant is excited about his/her major and what he or she plans to do after graduation.

The video with the most votes from the public wins $10,000 and an iPad 2. Right now I am in second place and am recruiting as many people as possible to vote for my video – you can vote once a day until January 1st. Please vote as often as you remember and share with as many people you think would be interested in voting for me. I appreciate all the help I can get!

You can watch and vote for my video here.

Thank you!
