Meet Matt Kelly, a 2nd year music student from UVic.  Not only is he a talented musician who has played everything from trombone to brass quintet, he is also an all around great guy.

I rock climb.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I enjoy a nice pair of slacks.

One thing you cannot live without?
Air.
What was your first job and did you enjoy it?
Meat cutter, and YES I did.
What‘s something you always do on the weekend?
Go to school (engineers have nothing on music kids).
What is the most exciting thing you’ve done?
Kayaked for a month last summer.
One of your resolutions for the New Year?
Bike to school.
Any classes you are excited to take next semester?
Music composition.
If you could have 1 superpower what would it be and why?  
Perfect pitch, so I can impress other music kids.

Live in New Zealand

I’m friends with a party cat who shows up at my door and creates parties.

Kraft Dinner.

Playing the bass.

Clare Walton is a third year Sociology, Social Justice, and Journalism student at the University of Victoria. Growing up in Canada, India, Guyana, and Indonesia she has seen the world. Her exposure to different cultures and practices has made her keen to hear people’s stories. Clare has been a news editor and reporter for various high school and university papers.
