Win $100,000 and a VH1 Show with The Do Something Awards!

Movers and shakers, listen up! If you’re working hard to make a difference in your chosen field, cause, or issue, the Do Something Awards could be an incredible opportunity for you. The Do Something Awards, sponsored by DoSomething.org, is a star-studded VH1 event coming up this August that honors young Americans who are changing the world around them.

This year, five finalists will appear on the Do Something Awards on VH1 and receive a $10,000 community grant for their work. The grand prize winner will be chosen during the award ceremony and win big – $100,000! Maybe you’re a community service superstar, a political activist for a cause you believe in, or a budding entrepreneur with serious dedication.

In 2011, the Do Something Awards were hosted by Jane Lynch. In addition to the five finalists, celeb presenters and honorees included Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Kim Kardashian. Musical performances included Demi Lovato, One Republic, and Foster the People.

If you’re a do-er, not a dreamer, the Do Something Awards are calling your name. Apply here! The application closes March 1, 2012.
