My roommate and I change our nail polish on a near religious basis. And when we do, we don’t use just any polish, we use OPI (Odontorium Products Inc.) because 1) it lasts forever and 2) has the best shades of every color! We don’t just refer to the OPI polishes by these said colors; we make sure to verbalize the wonderfully creative names as we brush them onto our desperately awaiting nails. With so many colors to choose from, I’m going to give you a heads up on the key colors you must have on your nails this season!

Winter is the time for you to wear those deep blues, purples and reds that would look too harsh in the spring and summer.  OPI has a great “Try On” feature that allows you to see the color on your own unique skin tone before you actually purchase it! Here is a list of my favorite winter shades by color…

Purples & Reds:

Bastille My Heart
Lincoln Park After Dark
I Brake for Manicures
Chick Flick Cherry
Got the Blues for Red

Blues & Greens:

Yoga-ta Get this Blue
OPI Ink
Road House Blues
Light My Sapphire
Here Today… Aragon Tomorrow

Browns:

Mauving to Manitoba
A-taupe the Space Needle
Get in the Expresso Lane
Suzi Loves Cowboys

But what about that Valentine’s Day date with your new man!?

I’m Indi-a Mood For Love
Romeo and Joliet

… Or that fancy dinner when Mom and Dad visit!

Sweet Heart
Aphrodite’s Pink Nightie

I used to be guilty of only buying the same looking colors of polish (always some type of light pink). But spicing it up and adding creative colors will make you feel just a little more spontaneous every time you look down at them. And people will definitely begin to take notice!
