February is upon us, and that means that love is in the air… or should we say, television airwaves? While you’re deciding what to get your man and what you’re going to wear this Valentine’s Day, take a moment to reflect on the most famous couples on television (in no particular order) that have stolen our hearts throughout our lives whether they aired before our generation, just recently, or every week on your television screen.

1. Lucy & Ricky Ricardo:This dynamic duo was not only in love on-screen, but they were married off-screen as well! Ricky and Lucy captured the hearts of many with their crazy antics on I Love Lucy in the 1950’s. Although their marriage didn’t last, despite their 20 years together and two children, the humor they brought the nation left audiences in fits of laughter and can never be replaced.

2. Ross Geller & Rachel Green: This pair was far from your typical couple; Ross had loved Rachel since high school and Rachel saw right thru him.Through the make-ups, the break-ups, the marriages, the annulment and the accidental parenthood, Ross and Rachel were obviously never supposed to be just ‘Friends.’

3. Aria Montgomery & Ezra Fitz:You know it and I know it; everyone knows that Pretty Little Liars would not be the same without the sneaky relationship between Aria and her now-former English teacher Mr. Fitz. These two lovebirds met in a bar before the first day of school and have been unable to stay away from each other ever since. Just recently, they revealed their relationship to Aria’s parents which didn’t go quite as planned. Needless to say, this relationship will be one that people are bound to keep their eyes on.

4. Meredith Grey & Derek Shepherd:Who doesn’t love a little McDreamy? A one-night stand between these two Grey’s Anatomy stars turned into an actual relationship fully equipped with an estranged spouse, insecurities, miscommunication, and a marriage via a Post-it note. This unconventional couple often finds themselves on a rollercoaster of emotion, but the one thing that remains constant is their love for one another.

5. Carrie Bradshaw & Mr. Big:Sex and the City fans have been on a rollercoaster with this on-again, off-again romance. Despite the fact that he was married and she was engaged, the affair between these two never faltered. In the end, they’ve always known that they were supposed to be together.

6. Luke & Laura Spencer:Now this couple may be more familiar to your mothers, but Luke and Laura dominated the soap opera genre when they fell in love on General Hospital in the 1980s and their legacy still hasn’t been matched, especially now since all of the soap operas are getting canceled one after the other. Their relationship sparked under strange circumstances; one night, Luke was drunk and actually raped Laura. The wedding episode attracted at least 30 million viewers and was the highest-rated soap opera episode ever.

7. Luke Danes & Lorelai Gilmore: What kind of girl wouldn’t fall for a man who makes her breakfast every morning? Lorelai and Luke had been flirting for years through clever sarcastic banter until, finally, they let their guards down and addressed their feelings. Although the relationship fell through, the season finale of the show left the audience able to imagine a positive future for the couple.

8. Piper Halliwell & Leo Wyatt:Charmed may not be on-air anymore, but the forbidden love between Piper and Leo will never be forgotten. Witches and white-lighters were prohibited to have a romantic relationship…that was until long-lost sister Paige came into the picture and proved that relationships between witches and white-lighters actually have a purpose. These two have experienced their fair share of demons, but one thing that has never faltered was their love for one another.

9. Chuck Bass & Blair Waldorf: Together, Gossip Girl’s Chuck and Blair are a force to be reckoned with. Despite their mischievousschemes, they always seem to bring out the best in each other and the feelings they have for one another are undeniable. They definitely deserve each other.

10. Mike & Carol Brady:Till the one day when the lady met this fellow and they knew it was much more than a hunch… but with all of those kids, most would say it’s a miracle that this married couple survived and made such a wonderful Brady Bunch! Kudos!

11. Sammi Giancola & Ronnie Ortiz-Magro:Now where would reality TV be without these two? Millions have watched their dysfunctional relationship on the hit reality show, Jersey Shore, which airs every Thursday night on MTV. This season they haven’t been fighting much, at least not on-screen but you never know when trouble is brewing in the Shore house. As of late, they aren’t together off-screen, citing that distance makes the relationship too hard for the time being.

12. Trista & Ryan Sutter:As one of the few Bachelor/Bachelorette couples still together, Trista and Ryan seem to have found true love. Two kids and 10 years later the couple is still going strong and living in Colorado. Let’s just hope that other Bachelor/Bachelorette contestants can follow suit.

13. Kurt Hummel & Blaine Anderson: As one of the first gay couples to have an immense impact on its viewers, Glee couple Kurt and Blaine have given young audiences nationwide the courage to be themselves. Granted there are quite a few other love matches on this famous show, but Kurt and Blaine are the only ones who seem to never doubt their feelings for each other.

14. Nathan & Haley Scott:One Tree Hill would be nothing without high school sweetheart’s Nathan and Haley. Through numerous high school basketball seasons, concert tours, high school marriage, kids, injuries and crazy babysitters, these soul mates seem like they can get through anything and everything.
