Recently, many of my favorite fashion bloggers have written posts about their nominations for the 2012 Bloglovin’ awards and have requested that their loyal readers vote for them. I was extremely curious about what Bloglovin’ was and what their awards were because I am A., Obsessed with blogs, and B., I never miss an awards show. Once I saw all of these posts, I immediately opened another tab in my browser because I needed to see what all this hoopla was about and all that I was missing out on.

Turns out that I am officially obsessed with Bloglovin’. I never thought a website existed that could cater so perfectly to my fashion blog addiction. For those of you who do not know what Bloglovin’ is, it is a site that collects new blog posts from all of the blogs you like and allows you to view them all on one website instead of having to visit numerous websites to see if new content has been posted. #Genius! While browsing the site I finally stumbled upon information about the notorious Bloglovin’ awards I had been hearing all about. Here’s the scoop: Every year Bloglovin’ and Myhabit.com host an awards show in New York City during Fashion week to honor various fashion bloggers and their notorious blogs. There are 9 categories that various bloggers are nominated for that include: 2011’s Best Fashion Blogger, Newcomer of the Year, Inspiration Award, Blogger Business of the Year, Best Personal Style Blog, Best International Blog, Best Fashion News Blog, Best Street Style Blog, and Most Original Blog. Readers then vote for their favorite blogs here and everyone can see who wins on February 12th when the awards stream live online. May the best blogger win!

She was born and reared in Los Angeles, CA, which does mean that she is a die-hard Laker fan… Sorry Bostonians. When Andrea is not routing on her favorite basketball team, she dedicates her time to her many passions. They include reading and writing about fashion, traveling, exploring new restaurants, spending time with friends, watching reality television (she has a weak spot for Bravo), shopping, and working out.
