Born and raised in Dallas Texas, Terry described her style as simple and understated. But there is nothing understated about Terry Kezoh. Her big personality and eye for aesthetic makes her, in my opinion, one of the most stylish ladies on the Syracuse University campus.
Â
Terry credited her mother and family for such a chic upbringing. At a younger age, Terry always admired and looked up to her mother’s fashionable taste. “Growing up I wanted to be like her,” she said.
Â
She also praised her cousins back in Texas for influencing her style. “All my cousins are mad fly, and I wanted to dress like them and incorporate things I liked about their style to mine,” Terry explained. She added some celebrities to her inspiration like Diane Kruger, Solange Knowles, Kourtney Kardashian and June Ambrose as well.
Â
“I like how they [style] themselves but keep it conservative,” she said.
Â
This inspiring fashionista also named Rachel Roy, Rachel Zoe, Giambattista Valli, Theory and Proenza Schouler as her favorite brands. But her ultimate fan favorite is Jason Wu. “One day I hope that’s all I can wear,” Terry said.
Â
Although Terry’s closet overflowed with clothes, she doesn’t care too much about them as she does her shoes. “I can’t with live without any of my shoes,” she said. And some key pieces she wears almost every day: gold earrings and her Michael Kors gold watch.
Â
In addition to her signature pieces, Terry’s go-to outfit is a bustier with trousers which mixes sexy and classy if she has nothing to wear.
Â
Terry hopes to turn her passion for fashion into a career. “I want to [work in] the business side of fashion. Either as a buyer, event planner or allocations for a big fashion brand.”
Â
With Terry’s innate eye for style, she’ll have no problem working in the fashion industry.
