Spirit Animal: Red-tailed hawk, most definitely. But really, there are too many cool organisms.

If You Could Have One Super Power What Would it Be: I want to apparate. That or be able to break the law of conservation of mass.

Dream Job: Pro tennis player, organic farmer, wine connoisseur, nature photographer — not necessarily in that order…

Favorite TV Show/Movie: Oh, I’m so bad at pop culture. I don’t watch tv or movies often. Right now I’m digging Dexter, but this summer I got really into In Plain Sight.

Extra-Curriculars: (You mean I’m suppose to have a life besides my thesis?!) I’m one of the co-heads of Amherst Dance, but I just fake it ’til I make it; I can’t actually dance.

 
Craziest Thing You’ve Ever Done: Jumped off a bridge onto a 6ft alligator and wrestled with it. …Okay, so not really, but I could have. I did go skinny dipping in Yellowstone Lake under a full moon (no pun intended) next to a ranger station once. That’s mildly crazy anyway.

She is a French and English major in the class of 2014 at Amherst College. She is also on Amherst's varsity squash team.
