Colors to Die For: Must Haves For Spring

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Purdue chapter.

There is nothing better than walking into a mall and seeing walls full of color after a dreary winter. In my opinion, I can only handle so much gray, black, and grey—bring on the color wheel! Clothing, jewelry, shoes, you name it, the beginning of spring is a fun time to shop. So I’ve taken the liberty of looking online (as if I haven’t already looked before, haha!) to find my favorite spring picks! Perhaps this will make your spring shopping a little easier!

BDG Cigarette High-Rise Jean – Persimmon Pants by Urban Outfitters $58
Coral is a great color to start off with and these pants fall right at your ankles. This makes it a perfect length to show off a great set of nude heels or some colorful sandals if you’re heading to class! Although the coral is my favorite, Urban provides other beautiful colors such as sky blue, a beautiful minty green, and a bubble gum pink!

Neutral T-Strap Wooden Edge $35
If there is one thing I love about Charlotte Russe, it’s their irresistible collection of summer sandals! They also are at a really good price, which is never bad deal! I’m definitely a fan of the wedge, and plan on getting this particular pair. The color goes with anything, and I love the buckles to add a little extra something.

Flash Flood Blue Dress by Lulus $45
Have a special date night or wedding to attend to? You’ll stand out in this purple and blue hued dress with its unique pattern below the neckline and flowy nature. This dress is perfect for many occasions. You can dress it up with statement jewelry, or go au natural for a simpler look. Lulus is always a great site to find unique dresses for whatever type event you need to attend to.

Black & Gold Metal Bracelet Pack by Asos $17
This black and gold contrast is hard to beat. There is nothing better than statement jewelry to me and this completely qualifies. Effortlessly timeless, this bracelet can pull a simple black outfit to a finished and complete look.
