The rainy, spring season is now upon us! And I couldn’t be more excited, because Madison
is really starting to shine and bloom. We all may be jumping the gun on this nice weather
phase, since we’ve had such wonderful weather lately, but who cares?! Let’s be optimistic
that winter is far behind us. You may be thrilled to finally start wearing your sandals, skirts,
and dresses, but don’t forget about your rain-day garb.

The Raincoat
It’s very essential to have a fully functional and fashion forward raincoat just as a stylish
winter coat was a must have last week. Just because you don’t wear it everyday, doesn’t
mean it shouldn’t be any less fabulous. Try a bright, solid, springy color like this American
Apparel one
. I love that this green raincoat goes with so much in my wardrobe and I can
wear it with dresses or jeans. For a unique, trendy look this spring, try a clear raincoat! You
never will have to hide your cute outfit if you have this Forever 21 clear raincoat. Stand out
in this Target floral printed raincoat. Don’t just cover up your look with a coat, but create a
new one with a fun printed raincoat. Even better, this Target coat is only $15!!

The Rain Boot
We all love our Hunter Rain Boots to death, but why look like everyone else? Make your
rain look trendier by trying out some of spring’s best looks for rain boots. Try out a fun
print, but please do not mix with a printed raincoat. These Gabriella Rocha rain boots
would look great with a bright, solid print coat like the American Apparel one above. These
boots would look great with jeans or tights and a dress, giving the outfit a springy pop!
I love these Dirty Laundry rain boots that are simple, but super chic. The small heel is a
totally new take on rain boots this season, and can completely dress up a look.

The Umbrella
If only we could all get umbrellas like Hagrid’s in Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, but
unfortunately none of these next umbrellas will start fire or teach a selfish cousin what’s
up. I have my eyes on this Urban Outfitter’s bubble umbrella that is so practical for a girl
with an outfit she cannot get wet. I like the idea of this clear, plastic umbrella because you
can cover up more of your face and still see. This Target umbrella is totally impractical, but
just about the cutest thing you will ever see. Umbrellas with animals on the top may have
begun popular with young children, but more and more teens and adults have started using
these adorable umbrellas. Find your favorite animal, and strut your stuff down the streets
while making all the heads turn.
