HC: Why did you decide to play club basketball in college?
JH:
My older brother had a great experience playing club baseball at Virginia tech so I knew that I was going to try playing a club sport in college. It was also a great way to meet other people who have similar interests when you first come to campus.

HC: What are some of challenges of leading your team?
JH:
It is difficult to motivate the team at practice and getting enough players. Since it’s not a varsity sport, the club team isn’t always on the top of everyone’s priority list. School should always come first though.

HC: What are your career goals?
JH:
I plan to work in corporate finance for a Fortune 500 company. I also hope that my future job will allow me to live and work abroad for some amount of time.

HC: What has been your favorite Miami moment?
JH:
I loved my semester studying abroad in Luxembourg. I got to travel to over 13 different countries. My favorite class was “Business of Chocolate” with Rob Rollins and my host family was so wonderful and welcoming. They made the trip for me.
