Swey’s Kitchen for the Cooking Collegiette: Cinnamon Tortilla Chips

Do you need a scrumptious snack for 10 people under $10 in 10 min? Then this tortilla chip recipe that my best friend’s mom shared with me is a perfect choice! The mouth-watering cinnamon sugar snack is quick, light, and easy to make!
  

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup of Sugar
  • 3 tblsp of Cinnamon
  • Vegetable or Canola Oil (enough to fry)
  • 6 tortillas

 
Preparation:

1. Heat oil in a frying pan
2. Cut each Tortillas into 8 (triangle) pieces
3. In a separate plate or bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon
4. Once the oil is hot, place 2 slices of tortillas into the oil and fry until it is lightly brown on one side then flip over and fry the other side until it is lightly brown as well.
5. From the pan, transfer the tortillas into the bowl of cinnamon sugar and cover the tortilla with the sugar. Repeat for the other tortillas
  
Optional dip:
Whip 3 tablespoons of nutella and 1 tablespoon of cream cheese and VOILA! There’s your dip!
