The Ultimate Wax Offer

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCF chapter.

I have never been too keen on waxing. I read an article once that said redheads are more susceptible to pain than other colored-hair humans, so I steered clear from beauty routines that inflicted pain on me. I also have light body hair, so plucking sufficed. Boy was I missing out! Just a few short weeks ago, Alpha Delta Pi partnered up with European Wax Center to raise money for the Ronald McDonald Houses of Central Florida. As being the Philanthropy Chair for Alpha Delta Pi, I am in charge of getting the word out to anyone and everyone. Before recommending this offer, I had to test out their services for myself. My eyebrows were looking a little grisly, so I opted for an eyebrow wax. Let me tell you, it was the most smoothing infliction of pain I have ever experienced.

I highly recommended this wax offer, and I’m not just saying that because I am in charge of this campaign. For every flyer the European Wax Center receives, they will donate $10 to the Ronald McDonald Houses of Central Florida, Inc. What do you get out of this deal, you may ask? Well, if you bring in the flyer (below) you can receive either a free wax or a 20% discount on all beauty products. If you have never been to a European Wax Center, you are eligible for a complimentary service. For women, these services include: bikini line, eyebrow, or underarm. For men, the services include: eyebrow, ear, or nose. If you are a returning customer, then you are eligible to receive 20% off all products. What a great deal!

This offer stands until April 6th, so mark your calendars! Be sure to make it out to European Wax Center location in Waterford to not only help out an amazing cause, but also feel the desirable effects of silky smooth skin. I’m forcing my boyfriend to get his chest waxed. What? It is in support of the Ronald McDonald House…
