Deviating from the typical spring break blowout in Cancun, my sister Katherine and I decided to take a trip to Budapest, Vienna and Prague this year! We spent two days in each city to get the most of our one week vacation. Some of the highlights were a night river cruise in Budapest where Katherine and I ate a buffet dinner and saw illuminated monuments on the waterfront. Also in Budapest was Heroes Square, an area heavily influenced by Green and Roman art. In Vienna, we went to four museums including Sigmund Freud’s house. At night we went to a fairground that reminded me of Coney Island; it had a ferris wheel that was over 100 years old. In Prague, we visited a village tucked away in the mountains and took a seat in front of the scenery. Lastly, one of the best parts of the trip was seeing John Lennon’s memorial wall in Prague and seeing the contributions from local graffiti artists.
