What are you involved in on campus?
I’m president of my sorority, Gamma Phi Beta, and I do IM sports.
What made you want to compete to throw out the first pitch for NU Day at Wrigley?
Just because I’ve been a die-hard Cubs fan for my entire life and it’s been on my bucket list. Morgan Freeman’s in a movie about a bucket list, if that taught me anything it’s that you have to complete your bucket list.
What did you have to do to win the contest?
We had to fill out an application to compete and then at the competition each contestant had to answer trivia question about NU and the Cubs and then each contestant had to perform a talent.
What was your talent?
I presented a slideshow that I put together of my best photo-bombing efforts and I tried to liven it up for the crowd by talking about different patterns and techniques to photo-bombing. It was between 50 and 60 pictures.

What are you most looking forward to about throwing out the first pitch?
Just walking on the field and realizing… that’s when it’s really going to hit me where I am and what I’m doing and how epic it is. It’s just so unreal, I can’t even believe it’s going to happen (clutching her face)!
What are some of your favorite things?
The Cubs, for one! And really just baseball in general. Country music, Australia, acting like a little kid, taking naps, when it’s finally warm out in the spring, watermelon, getting’ down with my homies.

Everyone should get tickets for the game and see me throw what’s sure to be a strike!
NU Day at Wrigley is on May 17- tickets go on sale April 30. The game is at 7:05 against Phillies.
