While, it’s officially springtime, you wouldn’t think so in Chicago! Then again it wouldn’t be Chicago if it weren’t cold until the first day of June. Spring quarter at the U of C is always the busiest, from the many campus events to interviews; it’s hard to keep everything together, not to mention keep up with the weather. That’s why today I bring you the perfect chilly spring day outfit.
Spring in Chicago is always chilly, making the jean jacket the perfect go-to accessory. You can throw on a simple top underneath, a scarf, some leggings, flats and you’re good to go. However, if you feel like putting a little more effort into your outfit, you can throw on a bright colored dress underneath, a scarf, some wedges, tights to keep your legs warm, and for a pop of color, a neon bag, such as the yellow one shown above. Spring is all about layering and having key pieces in your wardrobe, like the perfect jean jacket and a pair of wedges that can take you anywhere. Stay warm collegiettes!
