Summer’s coming up and instead of going to the beach day after day, here are some fun places to go to in Massachusetts if you’ll be in the state:

Blue Hill Trails
There are 22 hills that create Great Blue Hill in Norfolk County that expands through six different towns. There are 125 miles of trail and numerous routes with various terrains. At the top of one of a hill is a small tower and a little rest area for you to enjoy the scenery of Boston in the distance. So if you’re looking for some fun exercise, I highly recommend trying this out.

Wellfleet Drive In
I go here just about every summer and it’s always a great experience. In Wellfleet, MA there’s a Drive-In where you can see two newly released movies for the price of $9. I don’t know about you but I think that’s a pretty great deal. It’s the only Drive-In on Cape Cod so it’s pretty popular in the summer.

Six Flags
Although it’s about two hours from Bentley, it’s well worth the trip. With over 60 rides that range from mild to thrill seeking as well as the water park, Hurricane Harbor, there’s no possible way for you to not enjoy yourself. Even if you don’t live in Massachusetts, this park is about a mile from the Connecticut border so this definitely applies to all you Bentley students in the Connecticut area!

Wrentham Village Premium Outlets
These popular outlets have some of the best deals hands down. Just off of route 495 are outlets such as Coach, Vera Bradley, Timberland, Puma, Nike and plenty more! Make a day out it by shopping and winding down at dinner time at restaurants such as Unos, Cracker Barrel and Ruby Tuesday nearby.

Franklin Park Zoo
Since we’re not four anymore I know how easy it can be to forget how fun the zoo can be. Just outside of Boston, this zoo has hundreds of exotic animals from all over the globe. Go see the monkeys, tigers and kangaroos or check out the petting zoo to see a goat and feed it food. Take a day off with your friends and get in touch with your inner child. No more GBs, no more finals, just you and the animals.
