Although nobody wants to think about summer winding down, it is essential for all of the shopaholics out there not to spend precious funds on clothes that can only be worn a few short months. Before we know it the chilly fall months will be upon us, so here are great ideas for items that can be bough now, and transition beautifully into fall.

Bold neon statement pieces

Neon was a must this spring, but don’t worry about saying goodbye to those bright pieces just yet! Accessorize with neon in the fall to turn any drab outfit fun!

Structured Shorts and Pleated Skirts

Structured bottoms are cute year round. And you never know when you might need to look a little more professional (career fair, job interview, etc.) so throwing on some stockings with these bottoms come fall is perfect for a more polished look.

Open Knit Tops

Keep cool in the summer, or layer it over long sleeves to warm up during the fall and winter for a comfy bohemian look.

Cowboy boots/ short combat boot/ booties

These shoes are acceptable year round due to their versatility—play them up with a floral dress, or go for a more casual look with shorts. You literally cannot go wrong!

Jean Jacket/ Leather Jacket/ Blazer

There isn’t much to explain when it comes to these pieces; they are a must for all seasons! Wear them with a fun patterned top to mix things up a bit, or with a plain tee for a casual feel.
