Summer is winding down and school will be starting in just a few short weeks, which means it’s time for Monday Music Notes! This week’s post contains the soundtrack to my summer- a fun variety of pop, rap, and upbeat tunes. One specific album that was released this summer, Justin Bieber’s Believe makes multiple appearances on the list- and I highly recommend you check it out. Bieber expands the list of artists he’s worked with to include Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Big Sean. The album has more mature lyrics for the young pop singer, who exhibits more of his R&B and hip-hop side. Other noteworthy summer releases on the playlist are Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange, and B.o.B.’s Strange Clouds. I hope you all have a wonderful end to your summer and I’ll see you in September!
