For quite some time, we at Her Campus Princeton have featured our favorite brands and our newest obsessions in a column called Made for a Collegiette. We feature brands, products, and current obsessions that we think are not only perfect for us but perfect for all Princeton collegiettes. Let us know about what you think in the comment box below!
AquaDaisy is an amazing brand. There are three reasons for this. Firstly, the AquaDaisy has a knack for creating nail polishes that are unique and bear an exciting retro vibe. Two colors that we find absolutely intoxicating are a pink and black glitter polish that is called Beauty School Dropout and a green (how many times have you seen someone wear light green polish to be honest?) Martian Madness polish.Â
You have to agree that these colors are not only unique but very cool.Â
Luckily for us, AquaDaisy has sponsored our upcoming (get excited collegiette!) photoshoot that we have come to call Will Work for Trees. The photoshoot has a focus upon eco-fashion and AquaDaisy certainly fits the bill.
This brings me to the second point: all polishes from AquaDaisy are absolutely handmade. Handmade polishes lack major chemicals that are detrimental to nail health. As a huge nail polish fiend, I paint my nails multiple times the week; the better the polish is for the nails, the happier I am!Â
My third point may, afterall, be the most important. AquaDaisy is easy on the wallet. Nine dollars for handmade polish is certainly reasonable but for those of you who aren’t willing to shell out $9 for a new polish that you aren’t quite sure you will like, polishes are also offered in miniature sizes–perfect for the collegiette on a budget!
If nail polish is not your style, you are certainly not out of luck. AquaDaisy offers hair ties that double as bracelets. The hair ties/bracelets are extremely bright and extremely 80s. They are certainly one way to springify an otherwise drab winter outfit.
We are pleased to annouce that Emmy from AquaDaisy has asked to hold a giveaway for readers of Her Campus Princeton. Enter via Rafflecopter below.Â
