While school has just barely started, proposals have been in full swing this fall on the bluff. Not only was the audience at the Notre Dame soccer game more than shocked when Max Lilly, current ROTC senior at UP, asked his girlfriend of six years, fellow senior Katherine Thompson, to marry him (see the full story from the Beacon here).
It’s especially alive among the ROTC seniors this fall. Gary Thompson, another ROTC senior, proposed to his girlfriend, Kinsey Nolz, just this last Friday, September 21. After lining her backyard with candles and rose petals, Gary asked Kinsey to marry him beside a storyline of their relationship.
