Today is National Voter Registration Day!
Many of our readers, and many of us on the team at HC weren’t old enough to vote in the last Presidential Election but this year we can!
It’s important to take the time to learn everything you can about each candidate and what they stand for. The issues they care about and enforce legislation on impact us, especially as women.
To get better informed we’ve provided some information as well as links and videos on how to register to vote!
What do I need to have?
- An American Citizenship
- Proof that you live in the state. Voter registration centers will ask you for proof of your address either by a utility bill, government documents, bank statements, or paychecks with your address.
When is the deadline to register?
- Check your state’s election websites ASAP! Some deadlines close up to 40 days before whereas others, in states such as New Hampshire or Iowa you can register up to the day of!
