With the Emmys, it is hard to know what people watch for most, the fashion or the awards. Here at Her Campus Ohio U, we’ve come up with our top and ‘not’ fashion looks from Sunday night.

Best Dressed: Heidi Klum from the Lifetime series Project Runway
My top pick? Ms. Heidi Klum. She looked stunning in that pale blue, deep V Alexandre Vauthier gown. With all of the drama lately concerning her ex-husband Seal, Heidi sure looked strong and confident. And with all that leg, who would be able to keep their eyes off of her? The color may seem a bit summer-like, but props to her for matching it with her jewelry and shoes as well.

Best Dressed: Ginnifer Goodwin from the ABC series Once Upon A Time
There are people who know how to dress. And then there are people who know how to dress. Clearly, Ginnifer is the latter. Her nude, orange-lace appliqué Monique Lhuillier gown at the Emmys was the perfect pop of color and, mixed with a cool texture, made for the right amount of classic and sweet with an edge.

Worst Dressed: Lena Dunham from the HBO series Girls
While she may win your heart on her wildly popular television show Girls, Lena Dunham fails to get hearts racing in this lace-overlay Prada number. Not only is the cut and fit unflattering, but her makeup is so harsh it makes her look like a gothic baby doll. And for Pete’s sake, stop slouching Lena! You are at the Emmys, look like you want to be there.

Worst Dressed: Ashley Judd from the ABC series Missing
Although Ashley Judd’s dress wasn’t as horrible as other actresses’ (we’re looking to you, Jena Malone), her whole appearance from the 64th Primetime Emmys lands her a spot on this worst-dressed list. The pink Carolina Herrera gown was reminiscent of a mother-of-the-bride dress combined with an over-the-top ’80s prom dress. Not to mention the giant bow on the back of the dress draws attention away from the actress, and her piled high bouffant updo just couldn’t be ignored. I’m sure the people sitting behind her at the award ceremony felt the same.
