Sometimes it is hard to find the motivation to go to the gym to work out. Luckily, Oxy has a ton of opportunities for exercising that are fun and super easy! You will never dread getting a workout in again.
Clubs
One way to get have fun while getting fit is to join a club that will get you moving! There are many clubs available, many of which host free weekly events such as Zumba Club and PULSE. So grab some friends and get moving!!

Club Sports
There are quite a few sports on campus that are not NCAA, but still a lot of fun and will get you working up a sweat in no time. Most of these teams will not require previous experience, so it is great way to be on a sports team without feeling too much pressure!

Dance Production
Technically, this is a club on campus, but it is so big that it gets its own section. Dancing is a great workout and with Dance Production you can be involved in multiple dances for plenty of exercise opportunities. You will meet so many wonderful people and have so much fun, you will hardly realize you are working out!
Intramurals
Intramural sports are a great way to get active with your friends. Get a team together and compete against other Oxy students for an exciting way to get a workout in.
Intramural sports for each semester include:
Fall- Basketball (3 on 3), Flag Football, Whiffleball, Tennis
Spring- Basketball, Doubles Volleyball, Soccer (5 on 5), Team Tennis, Dodgeball
Classes for Credit
What could be better than earning class credit for working out? Since these are classes with a regular schedule, they are a great way to make sure you get your workout in and don’t skip.
