8 AM chemistry lab all the way on the other side of campus? Fear not- here are five easy breezy make up favorites to keep you looking fresh faced and fabulous for the fall!

1. Garnier Fructis Skin Renewal Miracle Skin Perfector

I am a strong believer that no matter the product (foundation, tinted moisturizer or face powder), your natural skin should always be able to peek through. Full coverage foundation is too much for a day of class and takes much longer to apply. This quick alternative to foundation provides light coverage and is easily applied with (clean) fingers. It blends easily and leaves your skin with a dewy, glowing finish!

2. Laura Mercier Secret Concealer

Laura Mercier’s Secret Concealer is perfect for covering up those dark circles that emerge after a late night of studying! This creamy, gel based concealer is designed specifically for the under the eye area and won’t cake throughout a long day of classes. Use a synthetic concealor brush or your fingers (the warmth of them helps blend in the product seamlessly) to apply. If you have an extra lengthy day ahead, setting the concealer with powder (regular pressed powder works well) with a fluffy brush will prevent any creasing.

3. Loreal Paris Original Voluminous Mascara

If you are looking for long, thick, voluminous lashes, this is the mascara for you! Considering all the high end make up options out there, it can be hard to tell which products are worth the extra cash and which you are better off buying from the drugstore. It is a far better investment to invest in products like concealer and bronzer as there are a ton of amazing drugstore mascara options out there. Loreal’s Original Voluminous Mascara is my Holy Grail mascara! It layers wonderfully and doesn’t flake off throughout the day. I suggest taking advantage of how well you can build this product and applying 6 or so coats. This may seem like overkill but this is what is takes for va-va-voom lashes!

4. Benefit High Beam

Though an unconventional choice for a quick make up routine, I find a highlighter is the best way to bring back that natural glow that sleep-deprived skin often lacks. Good highlighters are hard to come by; I find they are often too glitter-y and look unnatural. I sware by Benefit’s High Beam. It liquid formula blends easily on top of other products and provides just enough “glow” to brighten up your complexion! This product can be applied (and then blended!) anywhere where you may need a little extra sheen. I usually concentrate on my cheekbones and use any extra product down the bridge of my nose and directly underneath my eyebrows. Another fun trick- mix a little bit with a some body lotion and you will have the perfect shimmering body lotion!

5. Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain in Dawn

Many people would recommend a light colored gloss for a casual school day but I think using something a little bit more pigmented and long wearing can make you look just a bit more polished. Who doesn’t want that for Monday morning classes? Revlon’s Just Bitten Lip Stain in Dawn is easy to apply and the perfect fall color. One end is the lip stain and the other is a surprisingly good lip balm that be worn on top of the stain as a gloss or on its own. Apply the stain first, let it dry and them liberally apply the balm to pull your look together! Whether you have 10 minutes or 45 minutes to dedicate to your beauty routine each morning, it is possible to create a polished and fresh make up look that is sure to have everyone checking you out on your way to the that chem lab.
