Her Campus is partnering with She’s the First for their 2nd Annual Tie-Dye Cupcake Bake-Off, which will be taking place November 12-18. In support of the Bake-Off, you can shop the brand new collection of She’s the First t-shirts, brought to you by the winners of Her Campus & She’s the First’s 2nd Annual T-Shirt Design Contest! Check out their online store for the full selection of winning designs here — 100% of the profits go towards sponsoring girls in She’s the First’s partner schools!
The three winning and one runner-up designs were judged by Annie Wang of Her Campus, She’s the First Art Director Genevieve Tabios, and Preetha, a student from She’s the First’s India partner school, Shanti Bhavan. The shirts we have pictured here are Kelsey Thorn’s “Bake a Change” design and runner- up Christine’s “Baking a Change in the World, One Cupcake at a Time” design. The gorgeous photoshoot was done Georgetown Cupcakes in SoHo!
If you want to join in the Bake-Off campaign, you can sign up yourself or your group here to host a tie-dye cupcake bake sale between November 12 and 18. You can also download your complementary baking “tool kit” here. It’s sure to be both an impactful and purely fun experience! Now through October 31st, you can even win free cupcake mix for your bake sale by signing up and by referring friends!
Her Campus chapters currently have four teams heating up the competition! They are:
- Her Campus Alabama
- Her Campus Ohio State
- Her Campus Chatham
- Her Campus Skidmore
The proceeds from the Bake-Off will go toward She’s the First’s mission: shaping the “rising generation of well-educated global leaders, future philanthropists, and cross-cultural communicators” by sponsoring girls’ education in the developing world! As the shirts say, “Bake a change!”
