Now that most of us have made it through midterms it is time for a much needed break from the hustle and bustle and nothing can beat spending a lovely fall afternoon at Wilson’s Apple Orchard. Just a 15 minute drive on Highway 1 out of Iowa City, Wilson’s is a gorgeous place to pick a pumpkin right from the patch or to just go for a stroll through the rows of apple trees or around the pond that lays beneath the great willow trees. Don’t forget on your way out to stop into the store and get some delicious apple cider and a fresh apple turnover!
