I don’t know about you, but I don’t know a single person who dislikes Halloween.  It’s the only holiday that lets you dress up and pretend you are someone or something you’re not, spend time with family and friends, watch scary movies and decorate your room or house with scary things, and, of course, eat obscene amounts of candy.

Nostalgic yet? We are.

Let’s go back to the days when wearing a costume to school was cool, and when we could bring treats for the class’s Halloween party.  Let’s carve some pumpkins and put (fake) candles in them.   Let’s go back to the days when we spent out Halloween night running around the neighborhood with pillow cases and pumpkin bags, snatching up as much candy as we could carry while our parents desperately tried to keep up.  Ahhh… childhood.

In this spirit of reminiscing, we asked YOU about your Halloween habits as a kid.   Here’s what you had to say!

The majority of the people who took our Halloween Survey didn’t stop trick-or-treating until sometime during their high school careers.

Did you intentionally target the houses that were known for giving out full size and king size candy bars? Be honest!!! We did…

And, the most important question of them all, what is your favorite Halloween candy? Overwhelmingly, ours is Reese’s.  Surprised? Not really!

This year, let’s go back to the good old days, and remember why we really loved this holiday so much!

Happy Halloween, Collegiettes!
