4 Recently Released Albums worth listening to:

  • Cher Lloyd, Sticks & Stones:  Lloyd combines her rapping talents with upbeat pop tracks in a style reminiscent of Nicki Minaj for an album that is fun and energetic
  • What you know: “Want U Back,” “With Ur Love,” “Swagger Jagger”
  • What you need to listen to: “Grow Up,” “Beautiful People”
  • Miguel, Kaleidoscope Dream:  Miguel shows off his unique soulful voice over calming R&B instrumentals that make perfect study music
  • What you know: “Adorn”
  • What you need to listen to: “Don’t Look Back,” “Do You…”, “Arch & Point”
  • Calvin Harris, 18 Months: This album contains one of my favorite songs, “We Found Love,” as well as many other popular dance tracks. Harris features artists from diverse genres of music, including Kelis, Ellie Goulding, Tinie Tempah, and more.  
  • What you know: “Feel So Close,” “We Found Love,” “Let’s Go,” “Sweet Nothing”
  •  What you need to listen to: “Bounce,” “I Need Your Love,” “Here 2 China”
  • Brandy, Two Eleven: Brandy proves she’s still got it with her vocal runs on R&B tracks, and experiments with booming bass and sassy lyrics in more upbeat hip-hop style songs.
