What are you involved with on campus? I’m a middle distance runner on the track and field team, and I’m also on the board of the Harvard Investment Association.
Describe yourself in three words: Brash but thoughtful.
How would you define your personal style? Kind of like camouflage – practical, comfortable, and dependable, but definitely designed to fit in rather than stand out.
What is your favorite Harvard memory? Harvard’s 375th celebration – I’ve never been caught in such a rainstorm, the lightning made an umbrella a liability, and the yard quickly became a giant mud pit; but we were determined to see the night through. Oh, and there was the biggest, most delicious cake ever assembled.
What do you look for in a significant other? Someone who is up for an adventure and wants to be co-pilot, not just a passenger.
If you could be a super hero who would you be and why? He’s not your typical superhero, but I’d want to be Mel Gibson’s character in What Women Want. Life would be a lot more straightforward if I knew what you were actually thinking rather than having to decipher what you tell me.
Describe your ideal date: I think an ideal date is much more about the company than the activity, but I also think there’s something special about experiencing something for the first time together. Go on a boat tour. Take a day trip somewhere. Find a reason to let your guard down, learn about yourself and the person you’re with, and check something off your bucket list.
What is your best physical trait? Well, I’ve been running about 70 miles a week this fall, so I’m giving the nod to my legs – even if only as a thank you for an injury-free season.
Relationship status: Single.
