The University of Iowa dance team entertains the crowd during last Friday’s home opener where both the women’s and the men’s basketball teams took to the court. With dancers of University of Iowa’s Dance Marathon leading them onto the court, filling up Carver Hawkeye Arena. The women took the court first and with the return of star point guard Jamie Printy, who was previously recovering from an ACL tear. The women’s team did not disappoint and defeated Northern Illinois, 63-40. Following the women’s lead, the much anticipated men’s team trounced Texas-Pan American, 86-55. Here’s hoping that we can continue off of these wins and have two successful seasons!
