After hearing that Robert was “cool as [insert curse word here],” I decided that I needed to sit down with him and find out for myself. The interview turned into a casual conversation with a lot of laughs, and some occasional awkward moments. Don’t worry though; they were the good, funny kind of awkward moments. Keep reading to see what this week’s “Campus Cutie” is all about!Â
HC: What do you like to do in your free time; any hobbies/interests?
Robert: I like making music, hanging out with friends, and exercising and training.
HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Robert: Either working in a graphic design firm or playing in the NFL.
HC: Describe your dream girl, or what you look for in a girl.
Robert: Not to sound superficial, but outside beauty, and obviously inside beauty too. I could never like a girl if she didn’t like herself. Someone who is nice, and I’m going to sound like every other dude saying this, but it wouldn’t hurt if she had a little bit of a *uhh* [backside]. *Chuckles*
HC: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go, and why?
Robert: I’d go anywhere really; I’ve never been out of Nebraska.
HC: What’s your worst fear?
Robert: One of them is not being successful. I hate spiders too.
HC: If you could change something about yourself, would you? And what would it be?
Robert: I don’t mean to sound conceited, because I’m not perfect by any means, but I’m happy with who I am.
HC: Any pet peeves?
Robert: Hearing people complain about something vigorously, but then they do nothing to change it. I also hate it when people are on Facebook and they type the way they text—that old MySpace lingo stuff. Oh, and when you see girls with like 150 likes on one picture…makes you wonder.
HC: If you were granted one wish—anything at all—what would it be?
Robert: I’d probably just wish to be able to put my family in a better living arrangement.
HC: What’s a favorite class you’ve had so far?
Robert: I really like Spanish. I mean, I don’t really like going to class, but if I had to choose, that’d be it.
HC: And of course I have to ask, what’s your favorite part of being a Husker?
Robert: The traditions, the football program—everything that comes along with it. Every other school can say they have the best, but we definitely do.
