Name: Joseph Mikotowicz

Hometown: Erie, Pa.

Year: Sophomore

Major: Risk Management- Real Estate option

This week’s campus cutie is a frat stud with a passion for golf, basketball, and football Sundays. He loves chilling with his brothers in Sigma Alpha Epsilon, frequently “breaking it down on the D-floor” at his socials. We asked him a few questions that revealed what a charmer “Miko” truly is.

HC: What is the most important quality you look for in a girl?

Joe: Wow. That’s really the main question, isn’t it? Well first of all, she’s gotta be extremely easy to talk to. She has to have a good sense of humor, and be able to take jokes. And she’s gotta have a great smile.

HC: What is your dream job?

Joe: Probably working for the Federal Government. Maybe the FBI. That’d be kind of cool.

HC: Who is your celebrity crush?

Joe: Oh, where to begin? Audrina Patridge, hands down. Love the hills (before plastic surgery, though).

HC: What do girls like most about you?

Joe: Probably my outgoing personality. I’m easy to talk to. I like to have a good time. I like to dance. I like to dance a lot.

HC: If you were trapped on a desert island and could only bring one thing, what would it be?

Joe: Hmm, I don’t know. Maybe a couple 12-packs of Bud Platties?

HC: What’s your biggest turn-off in a girl?

Joe: Biggest turn-off? I’ve got to think about this long and hard… don’t want to burn any bridges, you know? Probably bad teeth, honestly.

HC: What’s your favorite chick flick?

Joe: Oh, hands down a walk to remember. The Mandy Moore soundtrack on that was just unbelievable.

HC: If you could have one super power what would it be?

Joe: Easy. Time travel. Who wouldn’t want to travel back in time and change some pretty embarrassing things they did in the past?

Born and raised by two Nittany Lions, Rachel continued the tradition by attending Penn State University in the fall of 2009. Currently a senior journalism major, Rachel also spends her time minoring in both psychology and Spanish. During her sophomore year she wrote for the Greek newspaper at Penn State as a member of Alpha Xi Delta, followed by joining the Her Campus team as a writer and the Public Relations/Social Media Manager in the fall of her junior year. In search of mastering the Spanish language, Rachel indulged herself in the country of Spain for five months while she studied abroad in the city of Alicante during the spring of 2012. In order to keep her English up to par, Rachel blogged about her experiences for both her personal account and Her Campus at Penn State.
