Breaking News: Amber Blue Skincare Launches TONIGHT

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.

What do you use for skincare products?  Let me take a guess-you have the “luxury” brand eye-makeup remover, “fresh” and “moisturizing” lotion, and the facewash which is full of “fruit beads” and “avocado oil”.  Did I guess correctly?  You must be a very lucky girl to have all of that.  What if I told you, you’re completely unlucky and your skincare products are anything but luxurious?  Would you believe me?

This past summer I had the great opportunity to intern for a company called Amber Blue Skincare.  It is a family owned, in fact mother-daughter owned, business which only offers the most luxurious products for your skin with the freshest, purest, and simplest ingredients.  Every ingredient in their products comes directly from their family garden and their products come direclty, hand-crafted, from their studio.  So when I say fresh, I really mean it.  This isn’t the company you are going to see in the pharmacy isle at a grocery store.  Why?  Well how else would you be ensured to get the freshest products if what you’re buying has been sitting on a shelf for a few months?  Each Amber Blue product is tagged with a batch number.  These batches are made daily, by one of the owners who is also an herbalist and aromatherapist.  If the ingredients don’t come straight from Jen’s back yard then they are coming from another locally owned farm.

Amber Blue does not use additives or fillers.  Their products are free from harmful ingredients such as parabens, minerals, petrolatum, and synthetic colors or fragrance.  You’re probably thinking to yourself, I’ve never heard of any of those ingredients….well go check on the back of your facewash with those “fruit beads” and “avocado oil”.  If Amber Blue says their facewash has fruit beads and avocado oil then I promise the fruit is from their apple tree and the avocado oil is directly from the avocados which are next to the strawberries….fresh.  Amber Blue takes pride in the way they develop their products to ensure they have created not only the best, or most luxurious, but the purest.  It’s their promise to you…and mine!

The reason I am writing all about this fabulous company is not because I was their first intern…but because tonight, yes December 13th, they are finally launched.  I mean it.  You can go online and purchase their products or if you live in the city stop by their launch event.  Check out the image below for more details on tonight’s festivities.  But until then, head onto AmberBlue.com and check out what this mother-daughter team is all about…P.S. I’ve already bought their Sweet Honey Oatmeal Soap (above!).  I cannot wait for it to come in.

Congratulations Jen and Tara!
