HCO: What activities are you involved with at UO?
I’m a member of Chi Omega sorority and this is my 2nd year living in. I also recently started volunteering with Safe Ride, which is a free shuttle service that takes students and staff members places at night. I can’t wait to be van certified and drive around telling people to come in my van! Oh and I work at the Knight Library in Special Collections and University Archives. Come say hi :)  Â
HCO: Describe yourself in three words…
I would say that I’m bubbly, compatible, and easy-going.
HCO:Â What do you notice first about a guy?
A smile attracts me the most then I would want to get to know them. Having a good sense of humor or being a gentleman are qualities I look for. If they’re really into themselves I don’t think it’ll work out even if they have the best smile ever. Liam Hemsworth would probably be my ideal guy. That accent is a plus.
HCO: Breakfast, lunch, or dinner?
Lunch. French fries on the side for sure. Maybe a pazookie or any dessert baked with icecream on top. As a main dish…anything buffalo style- strips, chicken, in a salad. Oh and can’t forget about avacado.
HCO: Decribe to me your ideal date.
Hiking up a mountain and watching the sunrise with snowcapped mountains in the background or with the clouds over mountain. Maybe have a little picnic to enjoy the scene.
HCO: Who do you live your life vicarously through?
Taylor Swift without a doubt. I think she’s a good role model and not like other celebs. Cute and quirky. Utter perfection. I love her so much that my friends and I are roadtripping from Portland to San Diego just to see her in August.
HCO: You’ve been at Oregon for three years now. What’s your favorite memory?
I have a really bad memory so nothing really sticks out right now. I’m going to try my best to live it up senior year. I probably going to YOLO everyday senior year.
HCO: Where do you see yourself in the next few years?
After I graduate, I would like to volunteer abroad, preferably with the Peace Corps. Helping others has always been a passion of mine. I think it’ll be a good opportunity to travel and see how the rest of the world lives and dive into other cultures. After the PC, I could see myself going back to school to pursue a degree in radiology or actually doing something with my sociology degree.
HCO: What quote do you live by?
“Whatever is meant to be will always find its way.” I don’t think people should rush into things or try to make things happen when it’s not working out. If it’s supposed to happen, I believe it will in the future. Even if it’s not what you want right now, the situation could be better later on down the line.
