Summer Youth Internship Program

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Buff State chapter.

If you keep up with local news you’ll probably already be aware of Mayor Byron Browns announcement on the Summer Youth Internship Program, but if not I’ll fill you in. Mayor Brown has stated that the Summer Youth Internship Program applications are now available to be filled out and applied for. For those of you unaware of what Summer Youth is, it is a program that allows youth between the ages of 14 and 21 to have the opportunity to be employed over the summer for about six weeks, and obtain vital skills needed to obtain and maintain a job in the future. If you plan on working and being in the Buffalo area during the summer or know of anyone that will be in the area you should apply or inform someone to apply for Summer Youth. For more information on Mayor Byron Browns annoucement and Summer Youth you can locate it at this website >>> http://www.ci.buffalo.ny.us/
