…So where did “Gudge” come from?: While my mom was pregnant with me, my dad and his friends saw a movie called Winter People, which has a character named Gudger. When I was born, those friends had t-shirts made saying “The Gudge Man Cometh.” Despite the fact that they named me Daniel, the nickname stuck.

What is your favorite part about being on the hockey team?: My favorite part about the team is that I have 25 best friends.
