Inspired by Marc Jacobs’ Spring 2013 collection, mint is a must! Pastels for spring are always a predicable trend; however, instead of wearing your usual blush and lavender, try mint.

1. C’mon Get Happy One Shoulder Mint Green Dress from Lulu’s
My obsession this season is the mint shift dress. The pastel looks incredible on loose-fitting and flowing fabric. I recommend pairing a nude heel or wedge with the dress; this will elongate your legs, and the nude won’t clash with the pastel.

2. Acorn Street Stone Necklace from Francesca’s Collection
Mint accessories are also another way to make a statement this spring. A chunky necklace paired with a mint-colored jewel or stone is a great way to add a pop of color against a neutral outfit. The trend will be incorporated into your outfit without being too bold.

3. BDG Cigarette High-Rise Jean Mint from Urban Outfitters
My favorite mint piece for college girls is the mint cropped pant. If you want to purchase only one mint item, buy this one! This pant is so versatile. You can pair it with a navy T-shirt and sandals for a casual lunch look or dress it up with some nude wedges and a pale-pink peplum top for a dressier occasion.

Either way, against your sun-kissed skin from your spring break vacation, the cool and icy shade of mint will look great!

Happy Shopping!
