When stress bites you know that midterms are just around the corner. Test times can be the most difficult time in a collegiette’s year. It’s also the time to avoid any type of drama that adds more weight to your book bag. If you are in a relationship and your guy finds that drama is entertaining then wake up and do what you have to do-NEXT!

I don’t mean to be that harsh, but seriously, how many times have you lost concentration because you can’t stop thinking about a fight or about that random girl that your boyfriend was talking to earlier? Don’t invest your precious time in people that clearly don’t value your sacrifices and career goals.

This time do it for yourself! Be a little bit selfish because in the end, you are all you’ve got. I can assure you that if you focus on what you want, you will totally get it.

Here are some tips to survive midsemester exams without any drama:

1. Be organized: tempus fugit- time flies! So sit down, organize your classes and divide your time wisely because midsemester always comes with a ton of workload.

2. Be focused: never take your eyes off the prize. These tests are the defining grade of your classes so study hard and concentrate!

3. Be motivated: even if you don’t enjoy studying for a chemistry class, get pumped up! If you just dive into the material you might end up liking it more.

4. Be straightforward: if you are in a relationship always communicate with your partner. Let him know that you will be focused studying and that you want to avoid fighting over stupid things.
