This wasn’t my first encounter with this week’s “Campus Cutie”!  I met Joe while on our trip to Florida for the SEEK Conference with the Newman Center.  After spending several days with him, I knew he’d be a good candidate.  So keep reading to find out more!

HC: What do you like to do in your free time; any hobbies/interests?
Joe: When I have free time I enjoy going to work out at the gym, chilling with friends, going hunting, and dancing…..I’m a big dancer!

HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Joe: Ten years from now I see myself married to the love of my life and having a couple of kids, along with a career in the military.

HC: Describe your dream girl, or what you look for in a girl.
Joe: What I look for in a girl is that she has to be herself in all situations, be outgoing (because I am very outgoing), has a sense of humor, likes to work out and be athletic, and loves to be outside!

HC: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go, and why?
Joe: I would have to say Australia.  I would go there because of the wildlife and the scenery, and I would love to go swimming in the coral reefs!

HC: If you could change something about yourself, would you? And what would it be?
Joe:  If I could change anything about myself, it would have to be to have more humility.  I would change it because I am very cocky sometimes and get full of myself when in competition with others, and because I think of myself as being invincible!

HC: Any pet peeves?
Joe:  My pet peeve would have to be when people sing to a song and they don’t know the words; that just rubs me the wrong way.

HC: What’s your worst fear?
Joe: My worst fear is not being able to there for my family or friends in their greatest time of need.

HC: We’ve all had embarrassing moments… Care to share any of yours?
Joe:  Well, I was walking to class one day and there was snow and ice on the ground (you probably already know where this is going).  I was walking across a parking lot and completely wiped out on the ice and got my pants all wet, and there were a lot of people around and it was very uncomfortable the rest of that class.

HC: Did you do anything for Spring Break?
Joe:  I went home to see my family and to play in my high school’s alumni tournament.

HC: And of course I have to ask, what’s your favorite part of being a Husker?
Joe:  My favorite part about being a Husker is that I am a part of the greatest school and tradition in the world!  Go Big Red!!
