Get familiar with the metal of the moment: rose gold! This color is all over the beauty and fashion industries right now; read on to find out how to incorporate this trend into your everyday routine using jewelry, purses, shoes, eyeshadow, and nail polish!

Jewelry: A rose gold Michael Kors watch is a popular item used to execute this trend. If you’re more of a budget-friendly gal, though, don’t worry! You can still rock that trendy arm candy. BaubleBar has great rose gold pieces, as well as various Etsy shops. A spike bracelet is essential to an arm party, as well as a classic pavĂ© chain. Rose gold studs are great for those who love earrings. For more of a statement, try a necklace, like this one pictured, and stack it with a chunky chain necklace.

Accessories: A subtler and more unique way of wearing the metal of the moment is to rock it as a purse color. A rose gold satchel may be overwhelming and flashy, even tacky if worn wrong, so throw a clutch under your arm for an effortless-cool look. Use a box clutch for a fancier occasion, or a zippered metallic one for a casual day out. Rose gold can be striking when worn on the feet, so try a find shoes that incorporate this color, such as metallic pumps or sequined flats, shown here.

Makeup:  If you’re one who tends to play around with makeup rather than fashion trends, try sneaking rose gold into your beauty routine. L’Oreal Infallible eyeshadow in ‘Amber Rush’ can add a touch of metallic to your look when swept in the inner corner, or it can be used to create a more dramatic look by applying it all over the lid with a cranberry color in the crease. For just a touch of sheen, apply Dior’s “Rose Diamond” to the cheekbones and cupid’s bow. For all the nail fanatics out there, Kure Bazaar’s ‘Or Rose’ is probably the best rose gold polish on the market, but Orly’s ‘Rage’ is definitely more accessible.
