In the celebration of AU’s first warm spring weekend of the year, we witnessed some great first suns-out-guns-out-outfits on campus. Being from NJ, I’ll take any warm weather that I can get in the spring. And the sight of a California girl’s interpretation of the weather made me jump at the opportunity to photograph her. Paris Wood, a freshman in SPA, hails from Cali and gave me a sense of her personal style this weekend. Tastefully bearing skin, she wore a black lace bralette from Pacsun, a floral skirt from Brandy Melville, brown boots from Steve Madden with high socks, sunglasses from Urban Outfitters and to top it off, a purple Zumiez beanie. This look radiated a California cool vibe. It was perfect for frolicking through the nation’s capital for the Cherry Blossoms Festival that day.
