Justas LAI 2013, the biggest intercollegiate event of the season, finished up this past Sunday in the city of Ponce with our Río Piedras campus coming in on first place on fencing, winning the silver medal in the dance competition, and other achievements.

Even though Justas is a sports competition, a lot of collegiates from all over the Island come to Ponce to enjoy the nights’ events that started out on Thursday night, in which different artists like La Fórmula and Plan B performed in stages that are placed on different areas of the town.

In between local beers, shots and Papa Jacks, the nights’ most sought beverages, the young and cheerful for their particular universities where dancing and showing off their proudness by wearing their campuses distinctive t-shirts.

Overall, the activities where successful, the town was filled with its police officers preventing any trouble, and the south of Puerto Rico got a nice taste of what young and talented college students’ jangueo is all about.
