It’s a boy!
After going into labor at 6 a.m. local time this morning, Kate Middleton finally gave birth to an eight pound, six ounce baby boy at 4:24 p.m. London time. Her and Prince William’s son will be third in line to the royal throne, following behind his grandfather, Prince Charles, and his father.
Kate gave birth in the private Lindo Wing of the hospital, the same place where Princess Diana gave birth to Prince William and his younger brother, Prince Harry.
Though the royal baby’s name has yet to be determined, George is the favorite name at this point.
