This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Kenyon chapter and does not reflect the views of Her Campus.

The ever-expanding Her Campus Kenyon staff would like to welcome back all of its wonderful readers. We know it’s hard to leave a summer of unpaid internships, camp counseling, dog walking and babysitting behind, but we’re so glad to be back at Kenyon to start a new year. Our staff can’t wait to start writing articles so intriguing and captivating that you’ll all be refreshing the HCK homepage as frequently as you check your Facebook page and Twitter followers count.

We have some new things in store for all of our readers to get excited about this year, such as a revamped style blog, a weekly feature called Middle Path Madness, and potentially a new male voice contributing to the HCK team.

Emma Miller and I, your campus correspondents for this year have also toiled for the past two weeks to come up with a new and improved HCK motto to reflect the goals and outlooks of our particular branch of the national Her Campus organization.

We want HC Kenyon to be your homepage, your go-to dashboard for all things Kenyon, news, and lifestyle. Her Campus Kenyon aims to provide a female’s perspective on everything from dating advice and beauty tips to breaking world events and women in the news in a way that appeals to everyone—whether you’re a woman, love a woman, live with women or just want to gain a different perspective on the world, both on the Hill and off.

Thank you for your continued readership and we at HC Kenyon look forward to acting as a source of entertainment, information, advice, and procrastination in this coming year.

Happy reading!

Ally Bruschi is a senior political science major at Kenyon College. She spent this past summer interning as a writer with both The Daily Meal, a digital media group  dedicated to "all things food and drink" and The Borgen Project, a non-profit organization that partners with U.S. policymakers to alleviate global poverty. Before entering the "real world" of jobs, however, Ally spent many summers as a counselor at an all-girls summer camp in Vermont, aka the most wonderful place on earth. A good book, a jar of peanut butter, a well-crafted Spotify playlist, and a lazy dog could get her through even the worst of days.
Emma Miller, from Shaker Heights, Ohio,  is a senior Drama major at Kenyon College. She is a co-president of StageFemmes, a Kenyon student theatre organization dedicated to showcasing the talents of women in drama. Emma spends her summers as Assistant Director at a Jewish performing arts camp. Emma is thrilled to be in her second year as co-Campus Correspondent for Kenyon's HC chapter.  Emma was a founding staff member of her high school's online magazine, and her writings have also been published on the FBomb. She is passionate about girls' education, Jimmy Fallon, iced tea, Ireland, Cleveland, and SmartWool socks.
