What would your ideal first date be like?: My ideal first date would consist of us both running late because we’re so worried about making a good first impression! Then we would go to dinner at local restaurant with really mediocre food but have the best conversations about pop culture, politics, cooking, and video games.

What is your dream girl or guy like? My dream guy would be someone who’s passionate about social justice and activism, someone who’s sarcastic but can have serious conversations, someone who doesn’t care what people think, and someone who’s a serious gamer but bathes and doesn’t play Call of Duty.

What is one thing that has happened in your life that has made the biggest impact on who you are today? Being severely bullied in high school for my weight has made the biggest impact on who I’ve become in adulthood. I will never alter my body because it makes other people feel uncomfortable. I will never allow myself to exist for other people’s ideas of beauty.
What’s your dream job? Running a nonprofit organization for body positivity! People need to know that they are special without validation from others.
What is the best advice you ever received? “It gets better.” Because it’s actually the worst advice I’ve ever received. Things don’t “get better,” sometimes you have to start a revolution and make the world listen.
