Montclair’s Campus Celebrity for this week is Samantha Foti!
Samantha is a senior Psychology major and is currently the President of the Montclair State Dance Company. She began dancing at the age of three at Broadway Bound in Lyndhurst, NJ and continued to train in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Lyrical. Samantha joined Montclair State Dance Company, previously known as Rhythm Nation Dance Club, her freshman year and served as Treasurer for two years before becoming President.
After graduation this coming May, Samantha wants to attend grad school for Counseling and hopes to one day become a Guidance Counselor. One of the most important things Sam has learned throughout these four years is how to be involved in campus life as a commuter and in the process, gain leadership skills.
The Montclair State Dance Company is a class one organization of the Student Government Association and accepts dancers of all levels and styles. Samantha wants to let you know that practices are held in the Rec Center every Monday, 9:30-11pm, and Tuesday, 9-11pm!
